Community Outreach

Community Outreach is a program offered to all Senior High students. This program allows our students to get involved in the community around them. Through the school, this program takes place every Wednesday afternoon during 8th and 9th Hours. Students can also complete the class on their own time. Below are some of the different in school ministry opportunities available to our students.

I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me (Matthew 25:40).

Shepherds Ministries

Shepherds Ministries is an organization existing for the purpose of glorifying God by assisting individuals with mental disabilities.

Highway Cleanup

Highway Cleanup is a program in which the students volunteer to go out to different locations on Highway 50 to pick up garbage.

Nursing Home Ministry

Our students go to The Alterra Nursing Home in order to provide the elderly residents with contact that they might not get normally. The kids talk with the residents, play games, watch television--basically doing whatever the residents would like. It also provides an outlet for our Christian ministry, for our students provide a Christian influence wherever they go.
